If you're anxious about getting the kids back to school, High Level Wellness has a few simple solutions.
The responsibilities of school shopping, school lunches, sleep times and morning routines are enough to put even the most organized parent over the edge.
Returning those children to school can cause stress. Stress can come from any situation or thought that makes you feel frustrated, angry, or anxious. What is stressful to one person is not necessarily stressful to another.
So, to address the basic issue of stress and anxiety, High Level Wellness has come up with a simple guidelines to make this transition back to school a little easier.
Ready?
1- Be sure to get adequate sleep and only take on tasks that you can fit comfortably into your schedule.
2- Drink plenty of water and nourish yourself with fresh whole foods. Be sure to avoid fast foods with your added responsibilities since this will contribute to your anxiety and stress.
3- Ask for support. One of the best ways to manage everything is to speak up and ask for what you need.
4- Celebrate your accomplishments, especially after you get the kids on the bus and safely to their destination. Then you will benefit from taking a much needed break.
Be safe this Labor Day weekend and enjoy!
